Health & Medical
The Health and Medical Focus Group strives to enhance the growing healthcare economy in the Tri-Cities. Some of the projects the Health and Medical Group have initiated include:
- Worked with local leaders to lobby state officials to secure the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University
- Assisted in the City of Johnson City's Up & At Em Community Wellness program
- Promoted and helped organize the City's annual Turkey Trot 5K run/walk on Thanksgiving morning
- Developed a How to Get Started guide for small business wellness initiatives
